Specialist online and land-based video slot developer, Lightning Box Games, has announced that it has upgraded a selection of its games to the mobile-friendly HTML5 markup language in advance of launching them into the New Jersey and Canadian markets.

European access:

The Australian innovator used an official press release published by European Gaming Media and Events to detail that the upgraded online games, which include its Lost Temple, Serengeti Diamonds and Frogs ‘n’ Flies titles, will also be distributed to operators throughout Europe via the new SG Digital subsidiary of lottery and gaming machines innovator Scientific Games Corporation.

Flash from the past:

Sydney-headquartered Lightning Box Games explained that the revamped games were initially designed by company founders David Little and Peter Causley beginning in 2010 using the Flash software platform. But, it stated that the update means that these video slots, which also encompass the Lost Temple, Angel’s Touch, Moon Temple, Chilli Gold and Diamond Tower advances, will now be available ‘to the next generation of players.’

Renewed appreciation:

A former games designer for International Game Technology (IGT) and Aristocrat Technologies Australia, Causley now serves as Managing Director for Lightning Box Games and declared that his firm’s titles are regularly utilized by clients including Microgaming, Everi Holdings Incorporated and Incredible Technologies Incorporated.

Causley’s statement read…

“Our classic games have built up quite a reputation among players over the last decade or so and have quite rightly taken their place in the slots hall of fame. Players demand has seen them upgraded for the latest technologies on the most up-to-date devices and we are now able to put them in front of a new generation who are appreciating them afresh.”
